Board of Membership and Growth

At Chapel Lane, Christian fellowship is a very important part of our growth as a community and as individuals. We enjoy many fun and exciting events together. Sometimes they are age-specific, such as when the youth go canoeing or when adult members share in Presbyterian Dinners for Eight. Other times, in fact most times, fellowship activities are open to all. Here are a few sample events:

Each November we hold the Share Fair Thanksgiving Dinner. This event combines an alternative-gifts fair for Christmas gifts along with a sit down dinner with Turkey and all the trimmings.

In December groups combine for caroling in the neighborhoods and a delicious soup and sandwich supper.

Our Annual Talent Show is usually held in the first quarter of each year. No talent is turned away from this fun event which showcases everything from poetry reading to violin solos to dramatic presentations to joke telling.

Each June we hold a picnic for all on the church grounds. This event marks the conclusion of the program year and an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the past year and while we look forward to summer.

But wait, there’s more! Game Nights, the August Ice Cream Social and Dinner Theater outings are just a few of the fun fellowship events scheduled at Chapel Lane. All are welcome and encouraged to bring a friend!
