Trip Dates: SPRING 2013!
The Chapel Lane Presbyterian Church staff is excited to present a trip for the children and youth of Chapel Lane Presbyterian Church with the hopes of encouraging participation in ALL Chapel Lane activities, i.e., Youth Group, Sunday school, Music ensembles, mission events and more.
The trip is being offered to children and youth to encourage the on-going fellowship & friendships of all of our youth/children with each other. On our trip to the “Windy City” we do the following: A half day “mission” element in Chicago with Second Presbyterian Church, A Sunday AM Church/Music /Worship opportunity for the Children’s & Youth (vocal & handbell) choirs to participate in and worship together. An educational component by spending a day at Chicago’s museums. An entertainment opportunity by seeing a Broadway Play. An important aspect is also friendship & fellowship through spending a fun, four days together in Chicago! Take Amtrak to/from Chicago!
Eligible Participants
Children and youth who are in grades 2nd through 12 are eligible for this trip. Any Chapel Lane member’s children may attend and their friends are also eligible to attend based on Chapel Lane involvement. We will always be in a large group or have activities for the Youth Group and Children’s Group.
Trip Supervision
Ideally, we are planning on one adult to four children. The Chaperones will take part in a training/safety & security day one month prior, to ensure security for the participation.
Chicago is the Place!
Chicago was selected for several reasons, mainly; it is a major city that is easily accessible for a four day trip. Detroit and Toledo are the only other major cities that were a possibility and considering the offerings of Chicago vs. safety concerns and the ability to take the train, Chicago won in meeting all of our above objectives. |

 You are invited to join us in worship on Sunday mornings. Our 8:30 a.m. service is relaxed and welcoming. Our 10:45 a.m. service, while more traditional in style and content, is welcoming as well. In both services we celebrate God's love for us through song, prayer, and the joyful proclamation of the Word.
Schedule Change: Please note that on Sunday, March 11, there will be no 8:30 a.m. service for that Sunday only. If you routinely attend the 8:30 service, you are encouraged to attend the 10:45 service to show support for the church’s youth, who will be conducting the service.
WEDNESDAY WORSHIP Join us for our Worship on Wednesdays (WOW!) service held at 7:00 p.m. and take advantage of this mid-week opportunity to reconnect and rejuvenate!

Come experience the great talents in your midst at Chapel Lane! 6:30PM show. Come at 5:00PM and eat delicious pancakes prepared for you by our Youth Group! See you there on Sunday, February 26!
