Small Groups

At Chapel Lane, small groups are a way to 

  • Grow in your relationship with Jesus
  • Develop meaningful relationships with others
  • Get to know the Bible better and apply it to your life
  • Enjoy fellowship with others who like a similar activity 
  • Receive prayer, care and support when you need it
  • Discover ways to encourage others by following God's leading
  • Explore opportunities to serve others with your God-given gifts and abilities
  • Have fun!

What small group activities are available?

  • The Quilting Bees
  • Wednesday Night Bible Study
  • Thursday Afternoon Bible Study
  • Gardening Group
  • Afternoon and Evening Women’s Circles
  • Scrapbookers

These groups are non-covenanted (meaning they are open groups and attendees may change from meeting to meeting) so feel free to check the Chapel Lane Calendar for specifics and join in as you wish. Select “Small Groups” under the Interest Group pull-down menu to see the current meeting schedule. The contact name is listed in the details for each calendar entry.

 

If you like, get a group of people together and explore how you can create a small group of your own, then contact the Director of Christian Education with your ideas.

SUNDAY WORSHIP

You are invited to join us in worship on Sunday mornings. Our 8:30 a.m. service is relaxed and welcoming. Our 10:45 a.m. service, while more traditional in style and content, is welcoming as well. In both services we celebrate God's love for us through song, prayer, and the joyful proclamation of the Word.

 

Schedule Change: Please note that on Sunday, March 11, there will be no 8:30 a.m. service for that Sunday only. If you routinely attend the 8:30 service, you are encouraged to attend the 10:45 service to show support for the church’s youth, who will be conducting the service.

 

                                                     

WEDNESDAY WORSHIP

Join us for our Worship on Wednesdays (WOW!) service held at 7:00 p.m. and take advantage of this mid-week opportunity to reconnect and rejuvenate!

Prayer Request
