Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.*

Our Sunday services are rooted in the Reformed tradition. They are grounded in the Bible and centered on the Grace of God revealed in Jesus Christ. Music plays a vital role in worship, and we have vocal choirs for children of all ages, youth choirs, handbell choirs and an adult choir to lead us in singing praise to God. The basic order of our services remains largely the same each week, yet within that familiar framework are variety and innovation.

Schedule Change: Please note that on Sunday, March 11, there will be no 8:30 a.m. service for that Sunday only. If you routinely attend the 8:30 service, you are encouraged to attend the 10:45 service to show support for the church’s youth, who will be conducting the service.

Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m.

Worship on Wednesdays (WOW!) kicked off in late 2011 with a new look and feel. The 10-year-old worship service has adopted a sequence of varied worship formats, each with its own style of music.

The first Wednesday of each month features meditative-style worship in the Taize manner, with instrumentalists, a small choral group and communion by intinction. The second Wednesday brings a praise-and-worship-style service, with contemporary music and presentation of the Word through drama, dance or other arts. The third Wednesday is a service of wholeness and healing. And the fourth Wednesday is an intergenerational service with hands-on experience of the Word.

In those months when there are five Wednesdays, the nature of the worship service on the fifth Wednesday will be determined as appropriate. In February 2012, because Ash Wednesday occurs on the fourth Wednesday (Feb. 22) and will be observed with a traditional service, the intergenerational worship theme will be reserved for the fifth Wednesday, February 29.

Take advantage of this mid-week opportunity to reconnect and rejuvenate, and if you feel so moved, to give expression to your own gifts and talents.
